- BanxQuote is strictly in the business
of reporting information, as it is reported to us, in a timely manner.
- We do not endorse any of the listed financial
service providers. Links to external
websites of financial service providers do
not constitute an endorsement by BanxQuote or its media partners of the sponsors
of such site or the products presented on such site.
- BanxQuote adheres to the strictest
guidelines for accuracy and honesty. Any
financial service provider engaging
in "lowballing" or "bait-and-switch" tactics will be promptly removed from the
site until the issue is resolved. Repeat offenders will be permanently removed.
- BanxQuote reserves the right to remove
any listed financial service provider
from this site, with or without cause or reason.
- BanxQuote does not make any guarantee,
express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information presented by the
listed financial service providers.
- Due to market fluctuations, interest rates are subject to change at any time
and without notice.
- Rates are posted by banks, lenders, and brokers, who have entered into a
contract with BanxQuote. Additional
information about participants can be found by linking to their own Web

- Complaints regarding any listed institution should be forwarded
to info@banx.com. All claims and inquiries
will be investigated and kept confidential.
- BanxQuote reserves the right to remove
rates older than 7 days to avoid misleading users.
- BanxQuote is compliant with regulation DD
section 230.8 and Regulation
Z Section
226.16.
- APYs are disclosed in accordance with
Regulation DD Section 230.4. Annual percentage yield is shown as "APY."
- Money market accounts and money market
notes have rates and APYs that may change after the account is opened.
- Listed lenders must be Equal Housing Lenders.
- BanxQuote information services are
not advertisements for credit as
defined by Section 226.24 of Regulation Z.
- APR is calculated in accordance with Regulation Z Section 226.22. Annual percentage rate is shown as "APR."
- BanxQuote acknowledges that certain
loan rates and costs may differ by loan size. The
maximum loan amount for a
conforming mortgage is $417,000. A jumbo mortgage is in excess of $417,000.
- Rates, APRs and fees are based on
average loan amounts of $417,000 for conforming
mortgages, $185,000 for FHA/VA mortgages, and $400,000 for jumbo
mortgages. Rates, APRs and fees
for Imperfect Credit are based on
individual lender/broker requirements. Please see
individual lenders/brokers for details.
- Actual closing costs will vary with
each loan. Please ask the lender or broker for a "good faith estimate" in
writing for your individual loan
requirements.
- Loan rates/APRs listed are those that
are offered to consumers with "good" credit characteristics, as defined by the institution offering the
product. Rate/APR and terms may vary based on the creditworthiness of the
individual.
- Points include discount points,
origination fees/points, loan fee, lock-in, flat fees and registration fees.
- The following fees are included
in APR: processing fees,
lender-required doc prep fees, underwriting fees, third-party tax service,
life-of-loan flood certification, notary fee, and lender-required courier,
wire-transfer fees, escrow fees and 15 days of interest.
- The following fees are not included in
APR: appraisal fees, credit report, title insurance, title examination
fees, hazard insurance, property surveys, attorney fees, recording fees, and
third-party doc prep fees, PMI (since not all borrowers are required to pay
this).
- Where differences exist, mortgage
rates are for purchases and not a refinance.
- 1-Year ARMs are fixed for the initial period and only
change once per year. 1 month, 3 months or 6 months are not allowed.
- 5/1, 7/1 and 10/1 ARMs are fixed for the initial period, become 1-Year ARMs thereafter (1 month and 6 months are
not allowed). These programs will amortize over the full 30 year period.
